Our Beauty Plan User Guide
We built Our Beauty Plan with medical aesthetics providers in mind. To take it one step further, we (literally) sat and watched medspa owners conduct patient consultations, writing down their process from start to finish. We took those notes to the drawing board and built an intuitive, no-nonsense tool to help them get the job done in a fraction of the time.
While most providers can get started creating consultations in Our Beauty Plan right away, we still compiled this handy user guide in case you need a walk through.
Log In to Your Dashboard
Log in to your dashboard via your medspa’s custom URL provided to you during your account setup. This should look something like [yourmedspa].ourbeautyplan.com.
Enter the username and password provided to you during your account setup, and click “Log In.”
If you need help recovering your password, contact support@ourbeautyplan.com.

View Your Patient Dashboard
The patient dashboard shows you every patient consultation in your practice. You’ll see the patient’s name, date of their last visit, and the provider who conducted their consultation.
From this dashboard, you can create a new consultation, or select an existing patient to edit their consultation or delete their record.

View Existing Patient Consultation
To view an existing consultation from your list of patients, click “View Consult.” From there, you can edit an existing consultation, or delete this patient’s record.

Create a New Consultation
From the patient dashboard, select “Create Consultation.” On the next screen, enter your patient’s details and select “Submit” in order to initiate their consultation.

Upload Patient Photos
A minimum of one photo is required to proceed. You may upload up to five patient photos from your mobile device, tablet, or desktop machine.
Fun fact: Marking up your patient’s photos via the edit feature on your device before you upload the photos is a great way to visually show your patient how you would treat their concerns. Using a variety of colors to indicate different treatments is also helpful!

Select Your Patient’s Concerns
Now the fun begins! During your account setup, we’ll ask you to supply us with a list of concerns you’d like pre-loaded into your account. Here, you can select those concerns for each patient with a simple tap.
Helpful tip: Remember, you’ll be required to recommend a treatment for every concern you select, therefore, we suggest keeping the number of concerns you select to a minimum.
Selecting a broader concern category as opposed to multiple specific concerns can help speed up the overall process. For example, if your patient is concerned with redness, age spots, and melasma, you may select “Hyperpigmentation” as a concern category so you avoid repeating the same treatments for multiple concerns.

Recommend Treatments
During your account setup, we’ll ask you to supply us with a list of categories and treatments you’d like pre-loaded into your account. Here, you can recommend treatments for each concern with a simple tap.
Select “Next” to recommend treatments for each concern.

*Note: A badge will appear next to each treatment category to indicate how many treatments you have selected.
Once you have completed your treatment recommendations, it’s time to customize each treatment.
Customize Treatments
Now that you have selected your treatment recommendations, you can easily customize the description, unit type, recommended sessions, price, frequency, and priority of each treatment. These factors make your treatment plan truly unique to each patient. Let’s get into it!

DESCRIPTION
The descriptions of each treatment are pre-populated for you (woohoo)! If, however, you’d like to modify the description, simply tap or click in the description box and make your changes.

UNIT TYPE
Indicate whether the unit type is a treatment (single session), area, syringe, or package, helping your patient better understand the cost of each treatment.

NUMBER RECOMMENDED
Select how many treatments you recommend this patient receive in order to obtain their desired results.
Activate the “Use Range” switch in order to recommend a range of sessions. This is an exceptionally helpful tool for more budget conscious patients who may not be ready to purchase a large number of treatments.

PRICE
Each treatment has a pre-populated price. If you’d like to change the price, simply tap or click into the box to edit the value.
Activate the “Use Range” switch in order to provide a price range for your treatment. This is a helpful tool if you offer package pricing, or if you need to provide a rough estimate for your patient rather than commit to a final price.

FREQUENCY
Let your patient know how many times per year they should book this treatment in order to achieve and maintain their results.

PRIORITY
Help your patient decide which treatments to book first by indicating the treatment priority. Treatment recommendations will appear from highest priority to lowest priority in their final consultation.

Add Skincare Products
After customizing each treatment, add skincare or product recommendations for your patient. If necessary, you can adjust the price of each product.

Review and Submit Your Consultation
Your patient’s photos, areas of concern, and corresponding custom treatment recommendations are compiled into their final consultation. At the top of their consultation, you have the option to write a custom message or leave the pre-filled greeting.
Review your consultation and select “Submit.” Your patient will receive an email with a protected link to view their consultation and book their first treatment!
